Exercise Physiology - Byron Bay
An Exercise Physiologist is an allied health professional who designs, delivers and evaluates exercise programmes for people with medical needs.
Exercise Physiologists often work in conjunction with physiotherapists to help people recover from injuries or orthopaedic surgery. However, they can also help with any acute or chronic condition that is shown to benefit from exercise, including:
- Respiratory conditions like asthma, COPD and others
- Cardiovascular disease or risk factors
- Kidney conditions
- Neurological conditions such as stroke, Multiple Sclerosis and others
