After graduating from nursing, Malissa worked on a surgical ward in Lismore and loved it, however she always had a desire for primary health care and practice nursing.
When the prospect arose to join The Bright Side Clinic family she jumped at the opportunity. Joining the practice early, Malissa has had an integrative role with reception and other duties throughout the clinic.
Malissa has interests in paediatrics, maternity, wound care, childhood and catch up immunisations, travel vaccinations, chronic disease management, and many other aspects of primary health care.
In her spare time Malissa enjoys sport, music and being outdoors. Malissa also has and continues to volunteer for a range of organisations including the cancer council and the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast.
Malissa prides herself on being a caring, respectable and empathetic nurse and is enthusiastic about delivering great health care.
Melissa can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org or simply ask for her at reception.
