Dr. Tahmina Ahmed MBBS, MPH
Tahmina completed her MBBS in Bangladesh then a Masters of Public Health at the University of Queensland. She worked for several years in medical research before completing the Australian Medical Council exams to practice in Australia. Tahmina worked in hospitals in WA and Queensland for 4 years before joining the GP training programme. Tahmina enjoys the close, personal nature of general practice.
Tahmina enjoys meditation, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She has a deep philosophy of kindness and giving, and is involved with several charities. Tahmina works with her extended family in Bangladesh who manage an orphanage that runs on donations, and another charity that covers medical expenses for people who cannot afford treatment. Tahmina is also an animal lover and regularly contributes to the RSPCA.
