Dr Alara Areli B.Med, FRACGP

Dr Alara Areli is a qualified female GP in Byron Bay who is passionate about providing her patients with holistic health care. She aims to help patients take control of their journey to wellness, with a focus on her special interest fields of preventative medicine, mental health, and women’s health.

Dr Areli obtained her Bachelor of Medicine from the University of Newcastle in 2014 and worked in the Northern Sydney Local Health District while completing her internship and residency. She practised in Tamworth and the Central Coast before obtaining her fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr Areli has practised as a GP in Byron Bay and Coolangatta for the past few years, with experience in all aspects of general practice.
