Will Heaton, MPsych, PsyBA General

Will is a warm and compassionate Psychologist who has experience working in both corporate and clinical settings. He is passionate about supporting individuals attain greater mental health and well-being. Therapeutic sessions are centered around helping individuals gain a deeper insight of themselves, their behavioural patterns and self-beliefs. Will works with a broad range of clients with diverse backgrounds and clinical presentations. Common presentations include: anxiety, depression, substance abuse, stress, phobias and behaviour problems.

Will uses a non-judgemental and pragmatic approach to mental health and wellbeing. He recognises the value of psychosocial considerations, such as connections to community, having healthy relationships and meaningful work. Will uses evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
