Dr Ameneh Shoaleh MBChB, BSc

Dr Ameneh Shoaleh is a British qualified female GP with 10 years’ experience working as a doctor in the UK and Australia. In 2014 she gained her medical degrees in the UK at Cardiff University and Warwick University, and since 2016 she has worked in various specialties in Australia, including Emergency Medicine, Public Health, out-of-hours GP services, Intensive Care, Anaesthetics, and as a Cruise Ship Doctor.

Dr Shoaleh is multilingual and can communicate with patients in Farsi, Polish, and Spanish, in addition to English. She has a special interest in family medicine such as men’s health, women’s health, paediatrics, and sexual health, and holds a Diploma of Sexual and Reproductive Health from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Having worked in Emergency Medicine for many years, she is able to manage acute and chronic conditions including heart and metabolic health, gastrointestinal issues, and mental health.

Dr Shoaleh enjoys incorporating lifestyle and integrative medicine into her consultations so patients can benefit from a variety of approaches for comprehensive and holistic healthcare. She is a warm, friendly, and compassionate doctor in Byron Bay, experienced in caring for patients from all walks and stages of life.
